OUR VENUE IS VERY DARK. HOW DO YOU HANDLE SUCH SITUATIONS?
I'm experienced in challenging environments, including dimly lit reception halls. I use additional lighting equipment when needed, but some venues may restrict flash. No worries—I have advanced camera systems and low-aperture lenses for exceptional low-light performance, ensuring outstanding results even in challenging conditions.
WHAT DO WE DO IF THE WEATHER GOES BAD?
I delight in capturing unexpected moments, turning unplanned twists into a unique story. Whether the celebration moves indoors to a grandma's basement, I'm ready to document it authentically. Embracing the magic of your day in its genuine form is my belief and passion.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
I typically deliver around 60-80 images per hour of coverage. It's important to note that these numbers may vary slightly based on the dynamics of the day and the number of events or activities that require capturing.
While my emphasis is on delivering quality rather than quantity, I want to assure you that I will not withhold any images based on specific numbers we may have discussed. My primary goal is to provide you with a comprehensive collection of photographs that truly captures the essence of your wedding day, regardless of the exact quantity. Your satisfaction and the preservation of precious memories are my utmost priorities.
ARE WE ENTITLED TO RAW OR UNEDITED IMAGES OR VIDEO?
Regrettably, I don't provide any RAW or unedited files. My emphasis is on delivering a high-end finished product. I believe the meticulous editing enhances the overall quality and enjoyment. I shoot with the final, post-produced product in mind. If there are specific moments not included in the highlight film, additional options are available for obtaining professionally edited clips of those significant moments.
WILL THE PHOTOS YOU TAKE BE EDITED?
Yes!. With my expertise of processing thousands of images annually, I am committed to delivering only the finest selection of photographs by meticulously curating and eliminating any duplicate shots, missed focuses, or images with unfavorable expressions. This careful curation ensures that the final product surpasses expectations and maintains a high level of quality and impact.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS AND VIDEOS?
As for wedding photos rest assured that you will receive the complete set of edited final images within 7 working days from your wedding day and edited wedding videos (highlight film , ceremony film, speeches etc.) within 30 working days from the wedding date.
The turn around time for albums and wall art is 6-8 weeks.

Certainly!.I hold a deep appreciation for the art of moving pictures just as much as I cherish still imagery. Through expert editing techniques including cuts and callouts, each film I create becomes a captivating collage of the unforgettable moments. My primary aim is to provide you with a film that seamlessly complements my photography style, ensuring a cohesive and immersive visual experience that truly reflects the essence of your special day.
SHOULD WE INVEST IN A WEDDING FILM ?
Your wedding is a significant investment, capturing fleeting moments that endure through images and films. Wedding films, in particular, offer an immersive recollection, preserving sounds and movements for a vivid revisit. They become cherished heirlooms, allowing you to relive the extraordinary chapter of your life and share the emotions with future generations. While photography is valuable, a high-quality wedding film offers distinct and irreplaceable memories, creating treasures you'll never regret having.
DO YOU USE A DRONE FOR MY WEDDING / EVENT VIDEO COVERAGE?
I thoroughly enjoy incorporating the use of a drone whenever feasible! However, it's important to note that the availability of drone footage is subject to weather conditions and flight restrictions that may be in place.
DO YOU RECORD AUDIO FOR WEDDINGS?
Certainly! Sound is of utmost importance on your wedding day, just as much as video. To ensure the highest quality audio, I employ multiple methods of recording as backups.
DO YOU GET ALONG WITH OTHER PHOTOGRAPHY OR VIDEOGRAPHY TEAM?
Certainly! I value collaboration and a firm believer of maintaining a harmonious working relationship with all vendors involved, including photographers and videographers. If you choose to book me solely for photography or videography while arranging a separate photography or videography team, I will proactively reach out to them in advance to discuss roles and responsibilities, and establish a rapport to stay connected throughout the event.
I greatly respect clear and open communication to ensure a seamless and coordinated experience for everyone involved.
DO YOU PRINT PHOTO ALBUMS AND IMAGES?
Absolutely! I offer beautifully crafted photo albums, fine art prints and wall art. These tangible keepsakes showcase your cherished images in a timeless format. WHAT IF WE WANT A WALL-ART DESIGN FOR OUR HOME?
You definitely should do a Wall-Art for your home. I appreciate the chance to meet before your event, but I understand it may not always be feasible due to busy schedules or distance. I'm flexible and can accommodate your needs remotely. If you need more information, I can showcase complete events online or arrange phone/webcam appointments for package discussions and getting to know me. My goal is to provide necessary details and a comfortable connection, regardless of the circumstances.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GO OVER CONTRACTED AMOUNT OF TIME?
I'm aware that unforeseen circumstances can happen during events. I don't pack up before the contracted time ends and am flexible about extending my presence if needed, with rates specified in your contract. My priority is to thoroughly document your event and adapt to any necessary adjustments.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO KEEP MY SESSION IMAGES PRIVATE?
Absolutely! If you prefer privacy for your images, just let me know during booking. I fully respect your choice, and images won't be shared on my blog. For increased privacy, consider adding an exclusive license to your base package. See the contract for pricing details.
Can you explain the concept of an exclusive license?
My prices include permission to use selected photos & videos for marketing. I may share some of them on social media and my blog for keeping my portfolio up to date. Do you charge travel fees?
I'm delighted to share that there's no additional charge for travel. I enjoy exploring different locations and capturing weddings across New Zealand. It's my way of making booking convenient for couples throughout the country.
WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING PROCESS?
The process is simple. After discussing your photography needs and confirming compatibility, you'll receive a custom quote and a comprehensive contract outlining all terms. This agreement ensures clarity, protecting both parties. It covers services, payment, cancellation, and usage rights. I value transparency and open communication, ready to address any questions before you sign. Once you review, sign, and pay your deposit, our wonderful journey begins!
IF WE CANCEL THE EVENT OR SESSION, WILL WE RECEIVE OUR RETAINER FEE?
Regrettably, I cannot accommodate that request. Retainer fees/deposit are essential to secure and reserve your chosen date exclusively for you. Once your date is reserved, I refrain from accepting new clients for that specific day, ensuring my full dedication to capturing your special moments.
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?
To secure your date, a non-refundable retainer/deposit amounting to 50% of the total package cost, along with the completion of a signed contract. Failure to sign the contract will result in the acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms outlined in the contract through a paid deposit.
Are there any hidden costs?
There are no extra or hidden costs. Prior to booking you will receive a full pricing info. Upon booking a wedding you will receive a contract with all of the details of the shoot so you know exactly what to expect. A non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. You can also purchase extra prints, albums or wallart if you wish.
