A Musical Love Story in Wellington


Some sessions stay with you not just because of the location or light, but because of the story behind the couple. Ikram and Ishu are both passionate musicians — Ikram plays the tabla while Ishu plays the dilruba. From the moment we connected during their consultation, I knew their session would be something special. As a photographer, I always try to incorporate each couple’s personality and passions into their photos. For Ikram and Ishu, their love for music became a beautiful thread that shaped the entire session.


Engagement Photos at Wellington Botanic Garden


We began the session at the beautiful Wellington Botanic Garden, one of the most popular locations for engagement photography in Wellington. Surrounded by lush greenery, winding paths, and soft filtered light, it provided the perfect setting for relaxed and natural portraits. The peaceful atmosphere allowed Ikram and Ishu to simply be themselves, creating authentic moments that felt intimate and effortless.


Sunset Engagement Session at Titahi Bay


As golden hour approached, we made our way to Titahi Bay. The rugged coastline and expansive ocean views created a completely different atmosphere from the gardens. The warm sunset light reflecting off the water added a dreamy glow to the portraits, making it one of the most magical moments of the entire shoot.


Romantic Couple Photos at Whitireia Park


After the sun dipped below the horizon, we continued the session at Whitireia Park. The last traces of golden light lingered across the landscape, creating a soft and cinematic atmosphere. This was where the session became deeply personal. Ikram and Ishu brought out their instruments and played together as the evening light faded. Capturing these moments felt incredibly special — a beautiful blend of love, music, and storytelling.
