Continuing a Journey of Memories
I’m delighted to share my first post of the year, featuring a special portrait session with the wonderful Niranjan Bandi and Sindhuri Jajula. This couple holds a unique place in my photography journey, as I first met them during their maternity session when I began capturing moments in New Zealand. Since then, it has been a joy documenting their milestone moments almost every year, witnessing their family grow and evolve.
This ongoing connection makes each session feel personal and meaningful. Every visit is not just a photoshoot but a continuation of a story—a story of love, growth, and the beautiful passage of time.
Capturing a Growing Family
This time, Niranjan and Sindhuri approached me with a desire to professionally capture their growing family. They wanted portraits that would adorn the walls of their newly-built home, reflecting their personalities, style, and the warmth of family life. I was thrilled to take on the challenge and create images that would become lasting memories for their family.
We aimed for a contemporary, fine-art style—portraits that are timeless yet modern, capturing authentic moments with elegance and subtlety. From discussing styling choices to selecting the perfect backgrounds and props, every detail was planned collaboratively to reflect their vision and ensure that the portraits would feel personal and authentic.
A Collaborative Creative Process
One of the most rewarding aspects of this session was the collaboration. Niranjan and Sindhuri were actively involved in shaping the style and feel of the portraits, making the process feel like a shared creative journey.
